TWO trains have reportedly collided on the line in an ’emergency incident’ – with two air ambulances rushing to the scene.
All train services between Aberystwyth and Shrewsbury are suspended after two trains reportedly collided.
The accident reportedly happened on the Cambrian line just outside Llanbrynmair in mid-Wales.
Emergency services and Network Rail engineers have scrambled to the scene.
An air ambulance has landed at the scene, according to the Flightradar website.
The A470 at Talerddig is also closed due to an “emergency incident”, Dyfed Powys Police said.
Transport for Wales said: “Due to an emergency incident between Machynlleth and Caersws, rail replacement is in operation however we are unable to call at Caersws.”
