FRIENDS fans are in a frenzy as a new theatre production based on ‘the greatest sitcom’ of all time is coming to the UK after its successful run in the US.
The production, which will tour the UK next year, prior to a possible West End residency, offers a comedic twist on some of the most famous scenes in the hit tv show.
Friends was one of the most popular sitcoms of all time, making household names out of Courtney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt Le Blanc, David Schwimmer and the late Matthew Perry.
It was a timeless show and all 20 somethings can relate to the characters played Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Joey, Ross and Chandler.
The show was created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman and aired from 1994 to 2004.
Each episode began with The One where… and was filmed in the friends apartments or at Central Perk coffee shop and centered around events in their lives from weddings, break ups, make ups, babies, jobs and much more.

Now the show is coming to the stage in the UK, after Friends! The Musical Parody was a success in New York and Las Vegas.
Fans will be pleased to know that The musical parody will tour the UK before it is expected to take up residency as a West End show in London.
The show will take fans on a musical journey through all 10 seasons of the hit TV series. which followed the fate and fortunes of six friends living in Manhattan.
In the US it has received hit reviews. One fan said, “I really enjoyed ‘Friend’s The Musical Parody.’
The cast was great! I loved how one cast member (Chandler) also played multiple roles throughout the show.
“The actor was practically effortless, which was quite a feat since the show moved at lightning speed.
“The vocal abilities of the cast were superb, and the fast pace of the show was almost insane. These actors certainly rose to the challenge!”
Meanwhile, one more attendee remarked: “Overall, it was a good performance. However, the actors were somewhat hard to hear and understand, especially the lyrics during the songs. I appreciated the coziness of the theater; there really seemed to be no bad seats.”
Another mentioned, “The characters were true to their origins, and I loved the portrayals.”
In the show, Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Joey grew up and stopped spending every waking hour at Central Perk.
