Chelsea proved why they are the absolute favourites to win the Conference League with a dominant victory over Panathinaikos at OAKA.
The heavily-rotated Blues, who visited Athens’ Olympic Stadium with 11 changes to Enzo Maresca’s starting line-up, opened the scoring early with Joao Felix on 22 minutes.
The West Londoners then wrecked havoc in the second half starting with Mykhailo Mudryk who doubled the lead in the 48th minute.
Felix sealed his brace seven minutes later before Christopher Nkunku’s penalty-kick on 59 minutes.
Panathinaikos, who were playing their first home match after star man George Baldock’s tragic death, got a consolation goal 10 minutes later with ex-Manchester United ace Facundo Pellistri.
