21 – Arsenal 1-1 Liverpool

Touchy subject with Arsenal supporters as they jump out their seats looking for a yellow card for Diaz.

He knocks the ball away after Saka went down for a free kick from wide.

Mike Dean tells Sky Sports: “I can see where they’re coming from but he hasn’t delayed the restart as they’re not set and there’s no-one to take the free kick.

“So I can see why he’s not booked Diaz.”

Anything one skipper can do, the other one can too!

It comes from a corner, with Alexander-Arnold curling in towards goal.

Luis Diaz gets the run across to flick it on and VIRGIL VAN DIJK, in a wrestling match with Thomas Partey, is too strong and nods home from a couple of yards out.

If he was at any fault for the Arsenal goal, he’s made up for it here!

Huge chance!

Oh Mo, you have to be doing better!

Mikel Merino receives a pass 25 yards from his own goal but he’s got a hole in his foot, letting the ball roll through him and into the path of Salah.

He rushes onto it and with Raya not set, he curls it first time towards the keeper’s left hand post and curls it quite a bit wide in the the end. Huge let-off for Merino.

11 – Arsenal 1-0 Liverpool

Just on Van Dijk in that Arsenal opener, Neville added: “Just watching Van Dijk, I’m expecting more from him.

“Robertson will blame himself for the goal and take responsibility but I’d expect my left centre back to get across. Especially when you’re up against someone like Saka!”

9 – GOAL! ARSENAL 1-0 Liverpool

For all the good football they can play, this one comes from one big, long ball from Ben White.

It finds Saka in behind Robertson with the pair tussling heading to the byline.

Saka’s touch is great, nutmegging Robertson to get him back inside before smashing the ball beyond Kelleher at his near post. Terrific finish and a priceless early goal!

Van Dijk jogging back and looking like he’s not too interested in helping his full back too…
